Lily Tomlin to receive the SAG Life Achievement Award

Award-winning actress Lily Tomlin will be honored with the SAG Life Achievement Award at this year’s ceremony, the organization announced Thursday. Previous honorees include Carol Burnett, Debbie Reynolds, Rita Moreno, Dick Van Dyke, and Mary Tyler Moore.

The award recognizes career achievement and humanitarian accomplishment. Tomlin will accept the prize during the SAG Awards, which will air Jan. 29 at 8 p.m. ET.

Tomlin’s major credits include Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In, Murphy Brown, Nine to Five, Sesame Street, The Magic School Bus, The West Wing, and most recently, the film Grandma, as well as Netflix comedy Grace and Frankie. Tomlin is also an executive producer on Grace and Frankie, which she stars on alongside Jane Fonda.
